 Today is the day, fellow freedom fighters, the third phase of the tax
fraud awareness campaign leading up to April 15th begins.
Operation Blockhead is a direct outreach campaign to the general public and tax
preparers ...on their turf.
We need you to go directly to H&R Block, Liberty Tax, Jackson Hewitt and
related tax prep locations. Pass out copies of Republic Magazine
"The Federal Income Tax Scam" issue to filers as they walk in and
those passing by.
If you are not well-versed in the tax issue, I do not recommend that you ENGAGE
the public or customer service agents at these locations. Let the experts
featured in the magazine do the work for you.
If you feel you would like to initiate conversion with the customer service
people, here are some questions you are seeking answers for:

"Can you show me the definition of the word income in the tax code?"
-
"What is the statute that requires me to pay the federal income tax?"
-
"Would you consider minutes of your life your own personal property and if so,
when I exchange that time for Federal Reserve notes how can that be taxed?"
The goal of this initiative is not to confront people head on, but to ask
questions and encourage discussions from the information you are sharing.
Possible things to say to initiate the magazine delivery:

"Did you file today? You did? Great, here is some information you may be
interested in! Thank you for filing."
DO NOT under any circumstances tell them to NOT FILE, or tell them there is no
law that requires them to file.
You are only there to give FREE information that asks the question, "Can
you please show me the statute that requires me to file a Federal Income Tax
form?"
Please be aware of soliciting and trespassing laws where you may be handing out
magazines. If confronted by a store owner or police officer, tell them you are
only distributing free information, you are not selling anything, and you are
assembled peaceably expressing your First Amendment right to freedom of the
press and freedom of speech.
