Tap Your Inner Patriot, Make a Difference

Columbia, MO, April 20, 2012 - We all know something is just not right.  Our government is continually encroaching on more and more on our liberties.  In fact, we have fewer rights now then when this country was founded!  The news screams of tyranny against our people.  With the recent Supreme Court approved and supported total infringement of our privacy and humiliation of our person, via their decision to support strip searching for incarceration on an unpaid traffic citation, just to name one recent example, where can we turn?  What can we do?  What are we missing?

The time has never been better to rally the population of this once-great nation and educate against the oppression being dealt us by the system of checks and balances that are now in league with each other to strip us bare of our God-given rights.  Chuck Baldwin said we should forget about D.C.  It's lost.  We need to come together on the local level and stop the tyranny in our own back yards, first.  But how?

There are tools available to help inform your local area, and with a little from your friends, your inner patriot can strike out on a quest the likes of which this country hasn't seen in two hundred-plus years.  "When we released, Don't Tread On Me, we scheduled a nationwide simul-screening.  Hundreds of patriots around the country sponsored a screening of the film on the same day.  It was phenomenal!" says Gary Franchi, producer of the film, which centers on the 9th and 10th Amendments.  "The turnouts varied from 150 in some places to a mere 12 or 15 in others, but, we all worked together to bring knowledge and understanding to the people."

Independent filmmaker William Lewis and activist Gary Franchi have teamed up to bring you several feature length documentaries about the egregious nature of our government, the desperate situation in which we find ourselves, politically, and the truth about the our Bill of Rights.

Camp FEMA and Enemy of the State discuss FEMA and it's stated purposes, the precedent of interning Americans on US soil, Rex 84, government's use of covert tactics to combat perceived threats to the existing social and political order, who the "threats" are, legislation, introduced and passed, with regard to forcing medical attention on an unwilling population, and more. Enemy of the State also exposes training of the local police by the Dept of Homeland Security to implement a plan to move door to door, disarm and evacuate people from their homes, relocate them and forcibly vaccinate them, even against their wishes.

Don't Tread On Me looks at the 9th and 10th Amendment, specifically, and how our government abuses its power, uses the Commerce Clause to usurp state and personal liberty, and what we should do about it.  Blood of Patriots takes an in depth look at the Bill of Rights, citing many legal cases that were decided against those rights, quotes some Justices who understood the limiting nature of the Constitution, the purpose of the Bill of Rights and, using quotes from our founding generation and news of the day, exposes exactly what our Founding Fathers intended, much to that chagrin of our legislators and status quo politicians.

"Our government continually tells us they have no clue what our Founding Fathers intended by portions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and they further say this is a new age and we must keep up with the age.  Do they really want us to believe our forefathers fought and died so we could have less freedom?  I don't think so!" declares Lewis, founder and project director of William Lewis Film.

"People need to know for what they are fighting.  They don't have a clue anymore because it isn't being taught in our schools.  In fact, the American Government book used in my daughter's class does not mention that this country is a Constitutional Republic.  They are teaching that it is a Representative Democracy.  No wonder people are lost!" exclaims writer Debbie Lewis.

So what can we do?  "Run for local office, help candidates who support the Constitution get elected.  If you so chose, speak at or hold a rally in your area.  Hold a film screening in your area and invite your local candidates to discuss and debate the issues.  If we think outside the box, the possibilities are endless," says Lewis.

"An education revolution is going to be the key to motivating the people to take up the mantle of liberty and do something constructive about it," says Franchi.

It's time to start a revolution.  We aren't talking about a bloody revolution, but a revolution of the mind, a revolution to remind us who we are and why this country was founded.  You know something's not right.  So do your neighbors, and unless we do something to stop them, those taking our liberties will continue to do so.  The call to revolution has been made.  Will your inner patriot answer?
